This short paper from DLR discusses something every CFD user has experienced: the evolution of CFD from being a stand-alone discipline to being a part of a complex multi-disciplinary simulation task. Tecplot has implemented parallel SZL output in SU2 using the TecIO-MPI library, as described here. Whether you prefer to download the SU2 binaries or build-from-source, use OUTPUT_FILES= (TECPLOT, SURFACE_TECPLOT) in your SU2 config file to get .szplt files that are faster to write, faster to read, smaller in size … why wait?

Grid adaptation can mean different things: with overset grids, for instance, it can mean modifying the grid to improve overlap.
