Voxel Grids

"An efficient meshing technique that should benefit flow solvers"

A voxel, according to the internet’s fount of knowledge, represents a value on a regular grid in three-dimensional space. In Pointwise, a regular (or Cartesian) grid itself is referred to as a Voxel-grid. Sometimes referred to as “Hex-Core”, unstructured hexahedra have been available in Pointwise for a while now. See this video for a quick overview if you haven’t started using them yet.
