CAD and Shrink Wrapping

Widely presented as the answer to the many problems CAE analysts face with “dirty” CAD, this video is a reminder that shrink-wrapping NURBS surfaces is a procedure that involves some approximation. It’s up to the analyst to decide what level of accuracy to the CAD model is called for, of course, so this can be a useful method – provided you remember the fine print!
