When Fred Brooks wrote that “complexity … is an essential property, not an accidental one” he was talking of software. That applies to grid generation, redoubled. There are many “minor” settings that have a significant impact on the grid so if you’re not using Pointwise’s Environment Files, you’re missing quite a bit.
